For the step photo I chose to process it going for an old-time'y feel mainly because the carpet and the walls are very plain and both a similar colour I was hoping for a vintage feel (with lego! :LOL:)

I've decided to have another go at a 52 having just realised that I used my camera for the first time in three months the other day!
My last attempt at a 52 was in 2011 and only got 4 weeks into it here's hoping I do better this time round.

Thanks for that Helen, at the moment I've only got a couple of filters and they're both Kood ones, I know I'll never be able to justify the money on Lee filters but it's nice to know the Kood ones aren't too bad (and by the look of your article to avoid the Hitech ones!)

I know when it's "proper" cold my fuel economy goes down because I start the engine, put all the heaters on and then spend 10 minutes scraping all the ice off the windscreen!

I like the angle you've chose to shoot this however it's a shame the building behind is so in focus, I'd probably try a horizontal crop of this from just above his head to emphasize the the keyboard leading into him. (I'd show what I mean but you've got no edits selected)
