I've had the 100-400 for three years and used it with the EM1 and EM1 mk2 and never had a problem with what you might call mount shaving. Lens fit to the body is good, the problem I think was with an early batch of lenes .

with everything disconnected from the PSU when you switch it on does it stay on?

Is the an on/off switch on the PSU

Have you tried unplugging everything from the PSU and then powering up the PSU?
