i have a 28-300 and it's perfect for travelling, only criticism is it is a heavy lens, I have no issues with the quality. compared to the Nikon 14-24 and 50mm f1.4 on my d800e

I have a 28-300 that I use with my d800e, it's a really flexible lens but can get heavy after a while.

there's a windows 8 app that integrates flickr into the desktop ... giving it a go today i think flickr is the right way to go, I've not had any problems with it yet and seems ok to use.

I am ready to post up some photos but I'm not sure which photo hosting company to use. I did a search but could not find anything initially. Lots of people use flickr but after reading reviews, seems a bit marmite, so what are the good and bad points of the hosting company you use ?

i bought a redsnapper, the carbon one, very pleased, not the smallest but pretty light and comes with a case and a carry strap. just back from Italy, used it extensively (it too has a little hook at the bottom of the shaft to hang additional weight)
