    i have a 28-300 and it's perfect for travelling, only criticism is it is a heavy lens, I have no issues with the quality. compared to the Nikon 14-24 and 50mm f1.4 on my d800e

    there's a windows 8 app that integrates flickr into the desktop ... giving it a go today i think flickr is the right way to go, I've not had any problems with it yet and seems ok to use.

    i bought a redsnapper, the carbon one, very pleased, not the smallest but pretty light and comes with a case and a carry strap. just back from Italy, used it extensively (it too has a little hook at the bottom of the shaft to hang additional weight)
