Hello :)
i have tried using thin tape, and the problem is the same: the Canon 1000F N, instead of moving the film to the right, retracts the film. Haha.
I've tried several times, but nothing works. I don't understand why the first time it managed to wind this same film until the tape came off...
but that roll was made with a bulk film loader but was not used enough duct tape.
now for the duct tape i'm doing as here:

i don't have at home the bulk film loader so i want just to do a test to see if work fine loading the film in the roll by hands...
The test went badly:

It basically wrapped itself to one side and slipped off the film spool !
but i would be able to put some ND filter on it.
@RyanB everything works properly on the lens but i would like to restore it for the pleasure of doing that to a vintage lens ahah. first ore later they will be more rare
Good evening,
I bought a 50mm lens with a Praktica and paid €15 for it. The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition, although it's quite dusty. The lens is dusty too, but I noticed that the filter threads are damaged; it took a hit in that area...
Hi everyone,
I'd like to test a 24-exposure roll of film on a Canon EF by taking film by the meter onto an empty roll.
The only thing I need to be careful about to avoid problems is making sure the film tab matches the one the factory generates on commercially available rolls of film exactly...
Hi everyone,
I found a Canon 50e with a battery grip for a cheap price and bought it mostly as a spare for spares. The back cover is broken, and I paid €15 for it.
That said, it seems to shoot normally, but I'll have to test it with film.
I did notice a bit of dirt, perhaps it's the notorious...
hello :)
as i wrote on the other discussion i have solved issue with that camera and his battery grip that let power off the camera during pictures.
Anyway i want to ask a question the be clear if the noise that i listen when i move the camera on the axis is normal or not.
the sound is...
i have read that it could be a smal bal that rotate to understand how is tilted the camera to let work properly the Eye control unit.
Anyway, fingers crossed, it seems like everything's resolved now. I disassembled the battery grip and thoroughly cleaned the contacts between the batteries...
now i have make it more clean, but i would like to see what is inside the bp-50 because still i have issues.
yesterday one of the contacts inside the BP-50 was dirty like that: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1udvLyFR4wg3q2BfFuyPRr-dgH0NslQnb/view?usp=sharing now i have cleaned it but still...
Hi everyone,
I spent the day testing this camera with and without the battery grip I got.
I put some newly purchased Energizer AA batteries in the battery grip, and I positioned the switch on the battery grip so the red mark isn't visible.
1) I noticed that when I take photos with the...
the "face down" side is the side with the emulsion ?

when i will be to my home and is still wet i put a little bit of wetting agent on my fingers like that and i run the finger from both sides of the negative all the way down ...
