    Droppped my Nikon D700, it had a battery pack and lens on at the time. so I think that one of these took the brunt of the imapact, as I cant see any external damage to the cmaera.. But, the camera dosnt work, the mirror dosnt move when the shutter is pressed, although there is a clicking, but...

    Stick with what you have Bill and learn to get the best from it, or you will be chasing gear for the rest of your life.. Want some more reach, get a V1 or V2 and stick your 300mm on it
