Those are really more than pictures..You have captured them with so much perfection..Loved the one in which a baby is sleeping with his pet and that in which droplet is coming out of a leaf :)

I think you should go with Nissin Di622...it is very convenient if you are on budget. The unit offers very basic features but this is a positive thing for amateurs like me because it makes using the unit an easy thing....This is my personal experience!

Wildlife photographers usually needs as much focal length as they can carry or can afford.
Wildlife is just that - wild - and alive. Get too close and your subject is off to the next county. The farther away you can be from your subject, the more likely you will have time to get multiple...
My suggestion is to write a letter to Canon and take your camera to your local distributor. Also document yourself so that they realize this is not an isolated problem but that it's happening to a lot of cameras all over the world, good luck:)
I use my 28-300 VR on the fullframe camera. Very flexible focal length and quality is very good! Can never blame the focal length for missing a shot
