Thank you for all the helpful replies. There was apparently a problem with the driver supplied and my graphics card. I have downloaded a compatible driver which now enables me to set the resolution to 1920 x 1080.My pics are now in proportion and look far better on my new monitor which I am now...

Thank you for the replies , the monitor only came with a VGA cable so I was unable to set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 . I will buy a Dvi lead tomorrow and see if setting the screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 will solve my problem as the monitor seems good value for money...

I have just received a 21.5 inch wide screen monitor but when I view the images they seem to be compressed to fit the screen. Is this normal and if so can anyone recommend a monitor that isn’t wide screen (21-24 inch).

Thank you Stuart. I took the batteries out for a few mins and after replacing them the same way it now seems fine. Thank`s again Rod

These are new batteries so do i take it the display shouldn`t flash?

Just bought a 430 ex11 and the items displayed on the lcd panel, flash constantly.There doesn`t seem to be a way to stop this and i find it quite annoying .Is this normal for this speedlight.
