This is exactly it, I’m sure it used to be covered, or the wording wasn’t as specific as it is now.
I’ve found UPS don’t mention batteries or electronics of any kind in their “compensation” exclusions. Been quoted £16 with 1k cover. Which is more like it.
Feel like I’m missing something...
They don’t, it’s in their exclusions see the screen shot above. I think this has recently been updated. Now It clearly states no electronic devices sent with OR containing batteries. Only option really is to send the battery separately without cover, or with a different courier to the main...
Its crazy, I wonder how many are buying shipping that don’t know it isn’t covered.
Just looked at DHL who also allow batteries. But it’s the same deal £70.
Seems they want your money but don’t want the liability.
At this point it rules out selling online unless the buyer is local or prepared to...
Hi guys, just wondering what people do for shipping their sold gear? Normally I use RM 1pm special service, but seems they’ve updated their excluded items for compensation. Stating no “electronic devices sent with OR containing batteries (including mobile phones, digital cameras…)”.
I’m sure it...
I asked, but they say they don’t have a lens in stock to put on the body.
Thanks for that, I’ll forward that info on, if it works in manual mode. Appreciated.
Hi guys, I’m looking at picking up a used Z6 from CEX and I’m trying to determine the shutter count before purchasing. Anyone know if this is possible without a lens attached to the body? as they don’t actually have a Z lens in stock.
Cheers.
Not sure if this has already been mentioned. Just been on dpreview comparing the A9 with the A7/A7ii reference image at base iso. Very surprised to see the A9 image look noticeably softer. Obviously the A9 is superior in all other respects, I just wondered if anyone else had noticed this and...
I think there's a big difference between a normal level of fitness in walking mainly flat areas and being mountain fit. I remember my first hike up the staircase to the Langdales in my early 30s, I got a shock how steep It was and I used to jog 3 miles on a daily basis. You're body does quickly...
Can anyone recommend an L-plate bracket? Been looking at the Neewer ones on Amazon but read a few reviews about them scratching the base of the camera. Use to have one on my XT1 that had a felt type material which obviously protects against rubbing, can't remember what make it was though.
