    Hey welcome!

    Low light indoor basketball photography

Yes totally agree. If your budget is real tight a 50mm 1.8 would serve you well. Focus isn't massively fast but it served me really well when I first started with basketball.

    EE Dongle

Fulham doesn't have sockets pitchside no. The wifi reaches pitchside sometimes but when it does it's weak. Funnily enough my EE dongle is my go too option at Fulham and it seems to work ok.

    EE Dongle

I stole this idea from Tobers blog and I can vouch that it's genius.

Remote camera behind goal line support

How funny, just been on the forum for the first time in ages and spotted this. I either use a gorilla pod or a cheap small tripod (very cheap but sturdy enough). https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263309604487 I'll post some photos of the setup...

    BBL 2015-2016 season

I'm not sure yet. I might well be, it depends on a few things though, who's in the game, who wants coverage etc.

    BBL 2015-2016 season

I'm a club photographer for surrey so I'll be there. Kipax is right in saying it's hard to make money from in terms of paper sales, I've had a couple from away teams local papers, but generally being a club tog is the only way of set income from it. I'll do a few other venues this season along...

    Basketball

Follow everything GooGaBu said and you can't go far wrong. You mentioned moving around every qtr. nothing wrong with doing that, but don't be scared to stay in one spot. You can get a hell of a lot of different shots from the same place, especially if you're new to shooting bball, get a spot...

    Beginner Longer reach advice

I've been looking at a few of those lately, I've seen higher than that for the non IS model. Sounds like a good price.

    Shooting basketball tips, please?

Ah yeah that makes it harder I suppose. Maybe back against the wall, depends how far away that is I suppose.

    Shooting basketball tips, please?

Yeah mine are open. I don't leave it anywhere in open space though. For example I often use one in the floor (on a mini tripod or gorilla pod) and then I tuck it right in against the side of the basket unit. I face it up to the basket with a wide Lens. I'll be doing on Saturday, I'll grab some...

    Shooting basketball tips, please?

@GooGaBu Interesting to hear the no backboard remotes in the BBL. I've not actually done it yet, but the guys at Surrey United seemed very open to the idea. Is it the refs or league who said no? I've found the refs very excepting of my remotes under the basket (floor mounted) so long as they...
