I recently put together a new editing/gaming rig and as part of that bought 2 1TB drives (Samsung Spinpoint F3's). However when added to my case and all powered up, i get the most annoying 'pulsing' noise as the 2 drives shift out and into sync with each other every half a second...
I have the Iiyama model you mention and have so far found it very nice to work with and use. Depends though as if your serious about editing then you (and I but alas i do not have the pennies) should go IPS.
Interesting topic, this is to be my first airshow as well this year, and as I only have a 70-200 I was planning on hiring a 100-400 for the event incase the 200 is not long enough.
Be interesting to hear from others that have shot there before?
As above is his possible? At work and away from my manual at the moment so cant check, for tripod based landscapes should I have this turned on (if I can hehe)
Would people recomend spot metering if they do not have the reach to fill the frame and intend to selectively crop after the fact?
Only reason I ask is that I only have a 70-200F4L on my crop body sensor 1.6 = 320mm so filling the frame is going to be hard for me (And i cant afford a longer...

Rcently motorsport photography has been all I've been doing and i fancy trying something different and would like to try my hand at some seascape sunset long exposure type...
I own the 70-200 F4L non IS lens and think it is fantastic. If your using it for sports, you will i'm guessing be shooting moving targets most of the time and you will probably be tracking that moving subject. If this is the case, I believe the IS would be redundant in most situations, ergo not...
