I’ve been back and forth on this one too lol. I came to the conclusion that there was no advantage to mft now that there are FF sensors with high pixel counts.
Not sure the saving is worth it- I'd stump up the extra few hundred quid and buy from an approved UK-based retailer. Will be much easier for recalls etc.
Your experience sounds similar to how I felt last year so I didn’t bother this year. Maybe I’m getting old but it was starting to feel like too much hard work. look forward to seeing your favourite images.
Interesting. I’ve bought and sold with them on many occasions and it’s generally been good but I’ve noticed their trade-in prices decreasing on the same items of late….will try a new account and compare.
Bought a Zeiss lens from Amazon once, got sent a pair of kiddies binoculars instead and spent hours trying to get a refund while they basically accused me of lying. Put me off ever buying camera gear from them again. Just a heads up!
My experience in the real world using 70-200 GMii with 2x tc compared to 100-400.…
It was basically a wash, maybe a fractionally better IQ with the 1-4 but nicer handling with the 70-200 plus tc.
The TC is a must have IMO, it gives so much more opportunity for a small price.
