I bought for my son 2 years ago a rugged panasonic compact that is waterproof. He took it diving and produced some good pictures and video underwater. He loves it as the build quality is good, pictures are excellent and he can drop it in his beer as a party trick.

yes but thats not quite the same as doing it automatically, thought there was a better way.

Hi Been looking at the eye-fi sd cards. Can they be used as a wi-fi card in a laptop without wifi ? Ie to give internet access. I know its not the intended use but need an access point on a friends laptop that does not have built in wifi. thanks Robin....
