Thanks for the reply I've got a few hardrives. Do you just use the standard software which comes with the scanner. Mines a Kodak printer/scanner so it's all built in I aren't sure if I got something to scan negatives with it.

I use our conservatory with a white backdrop and a flashgun aimed at the ceiling not brilliant but I get what I want.

I keep ours stored on the roll which it came on from the shop. We bought from the range and it was the last of the material they had left so asked if we could keep the cardboard tube pop a couple of elastic bands round. boom done.
