    Nightmare film experience

If you get a bit stuck and need to take a break, just put the partly loaded film in the tank with the center pipe and lid on, it will be light tight, so you can take your hands out and cool off.

    Colour film Processing

I used the Bellini kit, but it's temperature latitude is tight for the developer (+/- 1 degree), the other chems can be less critical. I'd reccomend a Sous Vide cooker and a big plastic tub, can be bought quite cheap and also have many uses in the kitchen. It has its own regulation controls...

Using A.I. to retouch scans for dust and scratches.

It's a lot of work, but it could mean that you never retouch stratches again

Using A.I. to retouch scans for dust and scratches.

That's not to say it's not possible, the problem is more infrastructure than the difficulty of doing it. You'd need: - Computational power (modern GPUs aren't cheap, but these can be rented through the cloud now) - Intermediate Python coding knowledge (AI coding assistants are probably good...

Using A.I. to retouch scans for dust and scratches.

You could do that in principle, I use a lot of local AI models, but having worked with imaging AI development, the difficulty arises in training the AI to remove scratches and dust rather than details, or grain, and ensuring it does not add new details into the images. You will need to provide...

    3D printed 5x4 film holder?

Can't hurt to try. I only have experience with "lower end" FDM printers, not the SLA type that Woodsy has used, I think it would probably not have the dimensional stability that is required for sharp film work, but would likely be ok for plate holders for alternative processes (tin-types etc).

    Scanning Dufaycolor?

All finished up and in the world of "real" work over in the Czech Republic (5 years now...). It's very fertile ground for a F&C meet, very photogenic, the home of Fomapan, and you can still get good beers for less than £1.50... The RB67 is still in my posession, it's waiting for me in Leeds but...
