    Do Jessops price match?

I was in the Kingston-upon-Thames branch last week and was told by a senior member of staff (who offered this info, rather than being asked) that they'll be doing internet price-matching for a while. He did say he wasn't sure how long it would last, but it's definitley available.

Wide Angle Lens in 10-20 (ish) range

I've been using the Sigma 10-20 on my old Canon, and I've since bought another for use on my D300. It's a fantastic lens that get a lot of use. I wouldn't recommend it for portrait use though, apart from anything else you have to get right into the photo, which wouldn't work so well for portraits.

Lens envy, or just ideas above my station?

I've been in this situation before. I would recommend buying the cheaper lens and honing your skill for a few months. If you're still using the lens a lot and see improvements, then sell your current lens and replace it with a lovely L lens.

    CF Cards on eBay...?

I've ordered CF cards twice from eBay, both times they were fake. One faked Sandisk card didn't even have a serial number on it, so when challenged, the seller simply said 'I can assure you, these are all real cards'. How can I check it's real if theres no serial number? (in fact, how can it...

Just a heads up on cheap CF cards

I'm not nit-picking, nor am I being a grammar nazi or anything else, I'm just saying that it makes your original post slightly hard to read, that's all.

    Playing With HDR(and no idea!!)

I think you've done very well for your first attempt at HDR, it can easily look rubbish. How many exposures did you use for this?

Just a heads up on cheap CF cards

I've got one of these and it seems to work very well indeed, I recommend it (Just out of curiosity, why do you use commas as apostophes? It just looks a little odd and hard to read..)

    Nikon 18-200VR Vs Sigma 18-200

I bought the Nikon 18-200 from Kerso for an excellent price. The quality of the lens and the resulting images are brilliant, I'd highly recommend trying to get hold of these both to try out if possible.

What do you plan to add to your kit in 2008?

I plan to get (depending on reviews) the new Sigma 120-400 OS lens when it's eventually released!

    Wide or fisheye

I've had two Sigma 10-20 (on my previous Canon, and now my Nikon), and can say that it a brilliant lens that gets a *lot* of use. I would find a fixed fisheye just a little too restricting. You won't regret getting the Sigma!

Lovely! Let us know how you get on with it, especially the 'push/pull' zoom function, congrats!

Nice, quite a big chunky lens too, isn't it? Looking forward to seeing some shots!

More people being stopped from taking shots??

The Police - on the whole - are just doing their job. If you're polite and respectful, they'll most likely just leave you to get on with things.
