Thanks Alastair, I've spoken to a couple of local brokers but they will only quote me annual policies.
With risk of going with EandL for a month, is there any broker which anyone would recommend?
They do, but they also require liability cover for all persons who are providing a service. I need to show proof of cover as do the band who are playing there.
I'm helping a friend out in a couple of weeks and doing an event for her. The venue requires Liability cover of £1million but it'll be a one-off for me.
Is there anywhere I can get a one-off police or monthly cover without the annual premium?
I'm looking at this too. Having looked around at what options are provided for walking, I dont think many of the camera bags are that technical. I think I'd be better served with buying a bag with a separate bottom compartment and then buying a padded liner bag which could contain my camera and...
I've tried working them wirelessly but without success. The transmitter is flashing when I press the button but nothing. The only time it works is when connecting the hotshoe together. Could the cr2 battery in it be flat? Haven't got one to hand to compare, but I've not used the triggers much.
Do I attach the transmitter to the receiver? Reason being is that I can't seem to get it to work wireless. I've checked the frequency settings and they are both the same. It only works when I slide the transmitter onto the hotshoe.
I have the rf602 wirelews triggers however can't seem to get them to work on bulb setting on my 40d. I've tried connecting thr trigger with the cable and then attaching the button on top but pressing the button seems to open and close the shutter. I've tried holding the button down with no...
Ahh dust.....well I havent got UV protectors on any of the kit. I'll be using hoods and I've just picked up a LCW ND500 77mm so look forward to trying that. I've also got a Polariser for the 15-85mm.
I really want some great landscape shots, but also want to take the usual holiday shots so...

I've just purchased a Light Craft Workshop ND500 filter for my impending trip to NZ. I've never used one before, understand the basics of it (9 to 10 stops down so need to adjust manually) but just was keen to find out if there is a simple workflow to using one of these i.e take the photo...
