South-East England Hello again, returning after too long away!

Hi All, First time I've logged back in for a number years. family, Scouting and a whole host of other things meant that I drifted away from photography, reaching for my kit only a handful of times, and for "special" occasions and family gatherings. My eldest, soon to be 6, has developed an...

    Samsung sef36pzf help please.

I dropped my Samsung sef36pzf :bang::bang: It now fires only from PT04 triggers. The wireless doesnt work, and on Camera doesn't either. It's like the it doesn't know the Camera is attached. I can adjust zoom and power manually, and test firing works fine, along with it firing when sitting...

    Potholes

I'ts not a county boundry is it? The A264 is a patchwork of road surfaces where the Sussex/Surrey border snakes over it. The two councils only to thier "patch".

    Potholes

I hear what you are saying pal, but then factor in the size, and quantity of potholes over the stretch I mentioned. Plus damages claims, and all the cost to process those claims, as well as the payout themselves. The repeated repairs, as the have been filled several times over. The background...

    Potholes

Exectly Neil. It's got to be a classic examble of "cost saving" shortsightedness. They are looking at saving on cashflow short term, rather than looking at the longer term impact. Byker, make sure you claim. You have nowt to loose.

for those unhappy at fuel prices...

Jo Lumley was the public face, your right, but I think you'll find that Peter Carroll was also a major player in the campaign. http://www.gurkhajustice.org.uk/about_us.html

    Potholes

I sent a stinking email to Surrey CC yesterday reporting a stretch on the A264. It's the same spot that always ends up bad, but they insist on simply filling them. What the road needs its a resuface. They claim budget won't allow a resurface, but I doubt anyone as bothered to look at how much...

Calling All Pentax & Samsung Users!!!!!!!

Hi all, As I mentioned in another thread, I'm kinda returning to photography. I had realised that y lack of inspiration had ended up in me subconciously loosing touch with the photography world for a few months. Blimey how it's all changed on the gear front!! No end of new lenses, and and...

    Time for a small boast!!

Thanks all. I've used it as an excuse to get some extra triggers from Flash In The Pan :D Its certainly stirred up the old passion again. I'll be doing the shoot later this week so will let you know how it goes. It's annoying that I can't post any for crit, but it's sensitive stuff.

    Time for a small boast!!

Hi Ped I used the fixed 50 for the pano and took 8 shots. I stitched them together with some software but can't remember the name. I'll look tonight for you. I don't use the 20-200 much anymore, I favout the 70-300mm Tamron Ihave, but it bridges the gap between 55 & 70 every once in a while...
