Nikon d7100 live view / viewfinder

hi, I'm noticing a difference in sharpness when shooting directly from live view or using the viewfinder. This is using autofocus. Live view seems to have less focus area - and specifically areas away from the centre aren't as sharp. Is this what I should expect? thanks

    Sharpest aperture?

Thanks. Interesting, that's quite low(?).. People seem to suggest midway is usually the sharpest for most lens'? So setting it to say 5 would speed up the necessary shutter speed quite a bit when in a bright space for artwork photography, is that a good thing for detail etc? Thanks

Best lighting for fine artwork photography?

HI all, any recommendations or this? I'm looking into lighting with diffusers for professional artwork photography, constant lighting not flash is preferred - as this seems easier to work with? Portable etc.. First investment in lighting, but needs to be solid. Say £3-400.. thanks!

Art photography, Lens correction, new lens? and lighting??

thanks all!, if i went for a 60mm lens, and am shooting say at 20x16 inch painting for example. Is there a way to work out how far away i would need to be to fill the frame and fit the piece? Often I am working in tight artist studios / homes and want to keep using a prime lens (for sharpness)...
