I've had similar thoughts - I think they are really aimed at 35mm backs (and having read the earlier posts here realise that I misunderstood the 35mm comment so it's not really relevant). The more interesting bit is perhaps the top of that page, with the MF system lenses that can be adapted...

I've been lurking around this thread for a while (and ended up as a backer :)) but thought I'd comment on the lens adaptation. Mercury Camera (http://mercurycamera.com/) are doing some interesting work adapting lenses of various sorts, including 135 lenses to shutters. May be something there of...
