    Arca Swiss D4

A Comment. You can attache what you want, but be careful. If you use a screw that is too long, you may damage internal parts on some heads. On others, using a screw that is too short, you will not have full strength. Each of our heads and QR combinations uses a different screw length...

Leveling arca swiss for panorama - am I talking complete ball-heads??

The Arca-Swiss heads including Z1DP(double pan), D4M, D4 geared head, C1Cube, will all allow legs to be off level, but let you level your camera and then pan while remaining level on top.

The Classic knob type is the most versatile and requires no adjustment for third party manufacturers plates etc. So 801214 is the correct cat number for a P0 with classic QR. Enjoy, Rod

    Redsnapper Arca Swiss Clamp Dimension's

Euan, The Arca-Swiss quick releases are 20mm thick. They may have a 3/8"-16 hole or 1/4"-20 hole. If the larger you can put a 3/8-16 to 1/4-20 bushing in to change to the smaller. Most tripods are 3/8-16 for head mounting except very small ones. Heads may have usually 1/4-20 top screws. Rod
