The price was for 5DMK2. I also asked for 5DMK 1 with same lens was set to £ 1209. CamBuster lock up £981.99 for ef 34-70 .. only £227.01 for 5D Mk1

Buy a lens for the right purpose! Do you need huge shutter? Will you shoot from tripod or handheld? Shooting landscape, bird/animal, sport, action in fast move? If you need a lens for all purpose then you have to buy a real good expensive lens. Else I would go for Tamron AF 28-300mm XR Di VC.
