I've had 2x 16-85 Nikon lenses and they are superb, great carry about range too.

I have plus net in my holiday home and it was a painless installation, some issues with BT (BT had to supply a line first) but Plusnet sorted them directly, no issues with the speed or loading during peak times. Very happy as i was unsure at the outset.

As a beginner, you must keep at it, even if you feel awkward as sooner or later, you'll get some shots which you will be really proud of. It doesn't matter who is around, they won't remember you after a few seconds.

Another thumbs up for Synology NAS, Easy to configure and navigate, the surveillance works well as does Video playback, ours is always doing something!

I've got a couple as well as Sandisk and I can't tell any difference, no issues....

I use a DS212+ and its just great. Very easy to setup and as already said, it's best to assign it a manual IP address, preferably away from the other addresses in use.
