    What is a watermark?

So how do I add a watermark to my own images then? I'm guessing it's stupidly simple and if I just bothered to go look at my PSE9 I'd find out straight away

    What is a watermark?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I had a few ideas but that wasn't one of them :D You learn something new everyday...

    What is a watermark?

Seen it mentioned countless times in the photo sharing and critique sub-forums, but cannot for the life of me work out what it is  I'm looking at pictures where it's mentioned, but dunno what I'm supposed to be looking for. Enlighten me please :D

You think about photography too much when......

I know this post is old hat, but I caught myself doing this earlier (several times) when chatting to the Mrs. I then started to read this thread and realised I most definitely have the bug :D

    Help with a Gay wedding

Ok. So long as you know I'm on the "It's a wedding just like any other, as far as I'm concerned..." side, and I have been agreeing with you :D Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual.

    Help with a Gay wedding

Agree. But the OP never mentioned any such reservations

    Help with a Gay wedding

Kinda sad that this thread has been derailed into a moral discussion rather than a practical one about the photography itself :/

How do you react to your picture being taken without permission?

I couldn't care less. It's already been said that cameras are everywhere anyway. In fact, I'd probably start posing eccentrically

    Following in my Father's footsteps....

Not really possible. The tank is 4ft x 2ft x 2ft (length, height, width), but there are glass braces/supports crossing over the top for strength. I don't think it would be possible to get/fit something that big in there properly without some serious maneuvering. Add to that the fact it's 5...

    Following in my Father's footsteps....

Absolutey; he would be a great resource, and I will go to him for advice. It's just that I felt this would be a good first thread on here. And as I said in the OP:

Recommend a photo editing suite (I AM prepared to pay for it)

It would be your best friend at that price :D

Recommend a photo editing suite (I AM prepared to pay for it)

Yeah I was actually quite surprised how inexpensive the bundle was, so I've ordered that just now. When I look for something to buy on Google, I always list it "price: high to low" so I know the bad news from the start. I did that with PhotoShop and just assumed it was extortionately priced for...

Recommend a photo editing suite (I AM prepared to pay for it)

I'm neither :( What is CS5 anyway? I mean, if all I'm wanting to do is 'breath' on my photos a little, surely I wouldn't need something so advanced? I'm assuming it's advanced going by some of the prices I'm seeing for it
