Yeah i'm REALLY behind now. 2 weeks or so i think. It all started so well, too....
Thanks for the tip mate. It was sort of a spur of the moment, if i'm honest i didn't put much thought into it, just captured what i saw.
Thanks for commenting guys.
Very original idea and it fits the theme Ian. I think we've all tried to rescue an image in PP before now that should have never made it past the recycle bin (hell, that's most of my pictures  ) But i think that if this is one of your worse shot's then you're doing something right...
So, i'm still having time issues but my shot for isolation should bring me up to date. It's a simple shot of my girlfriend, Shelby up at the lake on one of our increasingly common sunny days. She decided that she wanted to sit and watch the water and i decided i had an idea for this theme...
Great way to catch up Nick. Man i wish i travelled more now, these are beautiful. Especially like the fisherman shot, everything about that composition is just right and the purple hue it has is amazing. It's a winner.
Righto, so heres my attempt at stop. I don't really have much to say about it, it's a stop light
I was pretty stuck this week and i'm still strapped for time.
I promise i'll try to comment on some peoples pics this week but i don't get much chance :shake:
Stop -
Cheers guys...
Hey Ian, thought i'd try and catch up with the thread.
LOVE the guitar shot for indulgence. The soft focus works really well and the lighting is spot on. Wouldn't change it.
Also the house is pretty creepy, the only thing i don't like is the space to the right of the image where nothing...
Really liking the recent shots. Indulgence is cool, liking the sunset there. Coastlines in the evening always look awesome.
Especially like your 'Ingredients' shot, good colours and interesting subject, only thing i notice that i'd change is how the white bowl blends with the background...
The WB is off because that's what i was going for. I intentionally made it blue to make it look colder. Thanks for commenting
Welll, it wasn't a curved reshoot for my 52 but i did set out to shoot a 'curved' image since it was a shot i needed for my coursework, so it just fit nicely...
Ok so here comes a long bump. I've been a bit rushed recently, had a week off work, went back and everything had to be relearnt, had an assignment to complete (still not done :p) and trying to get my 52 up to date as well ass my little excursion to Wales. For these reasons, out comes the...
I tried the silhouette idea but it just looked too simple. Wasn't enough going on in the picture. Glad you liked stare  Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for commenting Louise, glad you liked my first attempt at shooting a bird :p
It's tough! Much respect for all those wildlife togs
