Looks really good buddy. The quality from that camera is awesome. Shame the subject is not the prettiest lol

Show us yer film shots then!

Look forward to seeing them mate. I know there were a few that you were happy with so i'm hoping they transferred well from what you saw through the viewfinder to film :)

Landscape people on YouTube - post your recommendations please

Absolutely love this guy. He has to be the most cheerful, optimist chap I’ve seen on YT. His drone footage is mind blowing at times. I can say he really has inspired me to stop being so bloody lazy with my photography and push myself further and harder to get to these phenomenal locations

    OPOTY - a curious peek

Definitely interesting to see what others have entered. Some people must have spent a small fortune on entering too, up to 30 images in a single category! Good luck to all on TP that have images in there. Spotted a few names :)

Campervan - The new "must have" piece of equipment ?

Seems to be the case I spent a good amount more but got 3 years warranty from the guy who fitted it so any issues I just take it back and he will sort it. Last thing I want is for the heater to fail during a mid winters night in the depths of the Scottish highlands, and from what I have read...

Campervan - The new "must have" piece of equipment ?

Mine is plumbed directly in to the main fuel tank so should always have a good supply. There are some cheap Chinese heaters on eBay but I went with the Russian branded Planer which seem to have great reviews. Got it with a 7 day timer too so can set it to come on 30 mins prior to driving the van...

Campervan - The new "must have" piece of equipment ?

Just had a diesel heater fitted to my T5 and it’s the best money I’ve spent on the thing. Set it too 18 degrees and it sits there all day/night and uses a thimble of fuel and pretty much zero battery power. It means that camping in below zero temps is a non issue now

Scotland Scotland ?! Help please !

My suggestion would be to stop off at Glencoe for a few days, then on to Skye for another couple, over the Lewis/Harris via Uig, again for 2-3 days, then back via Ullapool to explore the Assynt area. You can then make your way back down through the Glencoe area on your return and stop off again...

    Screw in Polariser recommendations

I’ve been using a Marumi for a few years now, although it is 105mm, and it’s been exceptional. Had Lee, Hoya and Heliopan and it gave a far more neutral result for me. I too have changed to scale down and now use the Kase filter system which has a magnetic polariser which fit of any of the...

Scotland Isle of Harris & Ullapool location advice

Agree with Jim’s recommendations above. Seilebost dunes and beach (just to the south of luskintyre) was also one of my favourite locations. All of the above bar Hushinish are next to each other so you can hit them all in a morning or 2.

I managed to sneak one in and receive a commendation as well as a judges choice. Overjoyed with that on my first time of entering :)
