    I must be missing something here, the D90 does have a dedicated ISO button its on the rear between the qual and wb buttons.

    Macro lens for D3100?

    Just weighing in with another +1 for the tamron 90mm, it's a peach of a lens .. Also have the 70-300 VR which I would also recommend, gets a bit soft at 300mm but for the price can't go wrong

    50mm f/1.8 VS 35mm f1.8

    Both great lenses and very sharp, on a crop sensor body the 35mm will become more like a 50mm and the 50mm will become more like an 85mm I would go with the 50mm if portrait photography is something your planning on doing but perhaps a more general walkabout lens would go for the 35mm Chances...
