    I'll second the comment on the image navigation, it needs to be above the images and not below and more prominent visually.

    Not at all I speak from experience. I've had both and I've found the Sony SZ series to be a more robust and reliable piece of kit. Apple do make great products but some of them are much more about style over substance.
