Thanks - mystery solved. When I last used the monopod it looks like the female screw mount from the lens that I had fitted to it remained attached to the head when I removed it - I just need to figure out where the errant fitting belongs !

I've dusted off my Manfrotto MMX PRO 3A monopod which is fitted with an integrated 1/4 inch - 3/8 inch attachment. Unfortunately I can't remember how I expose the smaller attachment fastening which is fitted inside the larger 1/4 inch attachment. Would someone be able to remind me what sleight...

Thanks, at the moment I'm looking at one of 3 Legged Thing's (wonderful name) Ellie systems and they do use the Arca-Swiss mount.

Hopefully a simple question, can anyone recommend a good Arca-Swiss Adaptor for a Manfrotto 460 MG Head. I'm getting lots of suggestions to fit an L Bracket to my camera when I'm taking landscape shots but all the recommended examples appear to use the Arca-Swiss system. Thank you.
