I took a whole bunch of photos last weekend under flourescent light at a car show, on the little screen on my camera the white balance looked ok, but on the computer it looks off, with a kind of sepia hue and all the metal halide lights have a different hue to them in the rows on the ceiling...

I have an E500, its a good camera but the 'kit' lenses let it down. Don''t get me wrong, they aren't bad, but you pay for what you get, and the image quality does suffer a bit. I have a couple of OM lenses that I fit using an adaptor and the image quality is far better. Ebay has a few E500's...

I've read a couple of books and looked at loads of info on the internet, but I'm still unsure as to how you choose the correct apature for a shot, the shutter speed is easier to work out as the camera almost tells me what it should be, I just have to tweak it until it looks right.

Thanks for the comments guys :) I decided to do a re-shoot tonight, but I just noticed I missed a bit at the bottom (some selotape) when I was trying to tidy it up in PS, so please bear that in mind!

I had a quick fiddle with it on ps, but ps is too complicated for me and I can never get good results from it. I darkened it down to get rid of the reflections from the lighting I was using. Tbh, I've not enjoyed this weeks theme, so just went with the first pic I took!

I found this one hard this week, I was trying to get away from the obvious fruit and veg, but after a week of not being able to think of anything, I had to quickly take a pic of some fruit. Not a great pic, but then I didn't put much effort into it either :thumbsdown:
