How does the 60-600mm compare to one of the primes in terms of sharpness? Not had that lens before. Had a 150-600 Contemporary, but sold it and changed it for the Canon 100-400mm mk1.

Ok. Thanks for the replies so far. Another lens that I am consider is the Sigma 150-600mm Sport. How do the Canon 600mm primes compare to this lens? I'm guessing that there would be no contest, but just interested to know of people's opinions.....

Hi all, I'm considering buying a new lens for my nature photography. I'm a Canon user - Canon 5D Mk3 and mk2. I already have the Canon 100-400mm f4.5 Mk1 lens and a 1.4x teleconverter. I mostly use this lens on max 400mm or with the converter 560mm, but I'm finding the teleconverter never gets...

50mm f2.8 prime. 4 light set up - 2 for the backdrop and 2 for the subject. I always do dog photoshoots with the owner present.

Anywhere on the West Coast will either be wet or plagued by midgies in the summer. But the landscapes tend to be a bit more dramatic on the West as the mountains are more pointy. East Coast, less rain, less midgies, but the mountains are more rounded. West Coast locations that I would include...

One copy goes on a separate hard drive on my PC, I copy the files across to an external hard drive and also I'm in the process of copying all my images to Amazon Photo.

I just wanted to say "Hi". I'm new to the forums, but not new to photography. I've been a pro for the last 6 years. I shoot mostly pets in my studio. I'm in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Other than pets, I do Landscapes and Nature. I also exhibit in venues around the 'shire.

I use a 50mm f 2.8 for my studio photos. Most of my studio work is with dogs.
