    New video tripod

I'm running with the manfrotto 525 and 501 head for maybe the last 13 years, it's seen some action and I've had to fix it a few times. However it shifts a lot when using the edelkrone slider and motion controller so I'm looking for a new set of sticks. First off the manfrotto 645 FTT Fast...

    Digital release forms...

I'm starting to realise how much paper and ink I'm using when printing our release forms out. There was an app I used years ago but I'm wondering if there is something I can use as a multi user studio that can take the info, plus signature and export to a pdf. I've found a few form makers...

    Building a hard drive server.

I already have things backed up on smaller 1 year drives plus I have my current external drives all hooked up to a USB hub. I'll keep both and store them separately. That way I'll have a clean set of drives that I can work on in the icybox then back up using free file sync if I edit anything on...

    Building a hard drive server.

I've managed to pick up a 4 bay icy box and 2 8tb drives for £125 each. Should sort me out for a bit.

    Building a hard drive server.

Thanks, I'll take a look. Cloud isn't too much of an option as we shoot a lot of raw video.

    Building a hard drive server.

Currently I'm on about 4tb per year so going back 10 years or so, although the earlier years are much lower. I have seen this... TerraMaster D5-300C USB3.0(5Gbps) Type C 5-Bay RAID Enclosure Support RAID 0/1/Single Exclusive 2+3 RAID Mode Hard Drive RAID Storage (Diskless)...

    Building a hard drive server.

i'm thinking a box full of storage to start. If I can keep adding racks with more drives then all the better.

    Building a hard drive server.

You know the story, too many files and a backup system that just a mess. I have a semi decent old atx pc so I'm thinking of building a server where I can expand drives as I go. I can't say I know much about it but I'm guessing I'll add a sata controller card on the motherboard to add more...

    End of year backup drives

Hah thanks guys, not sure the xbox one would work but that's a really good price. I've got two of the 6tb ones in the basket already so was thinking on that.

    End of year backup drives

I've never been one for NAS setups and each year I get a couple new 4tbs and back up the year. However now we are doing more and more video and now with the Black Magic camera it's getting crazy. I totally missed out on the black Friday sales as we had a baby on the 29th... Has anyone seen...

moving windows to a new hard drive?

I think i've figured it, old drive was 200gb split up into multiple partitions but I didnt see that you could change each partition size. Dragged the OS partition as the last one and then extended it out. Its working its magic now so hopefully in an hour it'll work. Out of interest will all...
