    Well done Ross Harvey!

Goodness me, only just seen this thread, stumbled upon it by accident! Thanks for the kind words! Photography has been a bit of a crazy journey so far :¬)

    Review Pro Nikon D750 Review + 35mm 1.8G Lens

Sorry for silence, all gone a bit mad :¬) Build quality - not held a D810 so I can't offer a comparison. The D750 feels absolutely fine to me though, when I pick it up, not once have I thought 'fragile'. It just feels right. I've been suing 12bit for years, after some A/B testing, the...

DF had D600 AF didn't it? I.e. poor in low light?

    Review Pro Nikon D750 Review + 35mm 1.8G Lens

That's on the cards dkh, but as I stated, the review is based on the D3s and how I use it. The canon push was due to a lot of requests. I've had a couple for the highlights now too, I'll see how many more drop in.

    Review Pro Nikon D750 Review + 35mm 1.8G Lens

Thanks! Glad it's helped. Incase you hadn’t noticed, I've updated the review (again), this time with 12800 comparisons vs the D3s. Amazing! Nikon may have just dented their own product line with this :) http://www.rossharvey.com/reviews/nikon-d750-review That saves you having to press the...

You can indeed! Press the 'i' button in LV mode and scroll down until you see Exposure Preview. Why it's OFF as default is beyond me.

I'm finding the small form factor a bonus too. But I can see why it's an issue for those with bigger hands. Can't imagine it being a problem when gripped though, the side grip is very deep.

It's quieter Tom, but still far form silent. Pretty pointless really :¬)

    Review Pro Nikon D750 Review + 35mm 1.8G Lens

Glad it's useful! If you have bigger hands (I have small hands for a guy), the battery grip should help. The native side grip is deep and will accommodate larger fingers than that of the D610.

    Review Pro Nikon D750 Review + 35mm 1.8G Lens

Hey gear heads :) I've just reviewed the D750 and thought many here would find it useful! http://www.rossharvey.com/reviews/nikon-d750-review In short - it's damned amazing! D700 owners rejoice, and those looking at the 5D3, do check it out first. I compare it to the D3s, my workhorse...

    New website launch: SP.com

Evening all! :¬) Just put a new photography website live: http://subjectiveperspective.com/ Not sure if it fits under a specific sub forum due to the varying nature of the posts. A mix, from street photography to lightforms and quotes. I'll be adding to it weekly (or more), and it's...
