Campervan - The new "must have" piece of equipment ?

Hi Stuart, apologies - just noted your reply; the company we used is https://www.duvalay.co.uk/ We were recommended this company by a friend and they do not disappoint. They do custom jobbies too.

Campervan - The new "must have" piece of equipment ?

The campervan is great if like you say you are doing some early morning togging and you are the only one sleeping there. However, we found that unless you get a top end "mattress topper" that has been created to exactly match the seat profile (when in "bed mode") it can be a very uncomfortable...

Campervan - The new "must have" piece of equipment ?

I've had a campervan (t5.1) for around 2+ years now. Summary: CamperVan -> Tent But only just, the key to sleeping well is having a customised mattress (topper) that perfectly fits into the shape of the van at the back otherwise you will end up with many a night waking up with a bad back if...

Took the X100T down to Poldark country last week, I'm constantly surprised how capable this little beast is

What is your biggest weakness in photography?

Taking someone with me, they get all stressy and tut tut when I've spent 60 minutes and walked less than 200 yards.. yet still I invite them/can't say b****r off.

Updating the firmware and/or switching output to Adobe RGB seems to have done the trick. Banding is very minimal now.

Ah ok, banding is also appearing in the JPGs that camera is producing but will take on your advice onboard to narrow it down. I'm hoping the firmware is going to fix it, just frustrating I dont have access to the camera until I get back.

Thanks, I'll note that too and add it to the "if that doesn't work move to the next step" list. ;)

I knocked it off and it didn't make any difference. Next two steps is to try with the new firmware and if that doesn't work change from sRGB to Adobe RGB as apparently that can cause problems too.

Thanks. In terms of the firmware update yes I noticed on the "fix list" that "banding was improved". I've performed an update so once I get back this weekend I will give it a try.

I've bounced between manufacturers like a steel ball in a pinball machine, I have no loyalty to any - rather whatever takes my fancy. Though admittedly I loved the Olympus OMD E5 and had that for a good 5-6 years despite having a Canon 1D MK II, Nikon D3 and a range other Canon/Nikon cameras...

Sunset at Hatchet Pond, seemed to be suffering from banding really bad. This is straight out the camera and recropped in photoshop (and white balance reset). I have just updated firmware from 1.01 to 2.00 and changed output from SRGB to Adobe RGB so will try again this sunday to see if it...
