I have the L bracket on my A7R3 but I removed the side bracket and uses just the base.

Part of me is very reluctant to get a 2.8 prime purely for the reason that I can get a zoom. As the extra focal lengths on offer is worth it over the size a 2.8.

I would like a wide angle between 14-18mm prime but I do can’t decide which one. The 18/2.0 would be good but not for £500!!! I think I might wait until I go back to HK again and get a 18/1.4.

Order of priorities for me 1 - Optics (Aperture) 2 - Price 3 - Size 4 - Weather sealing. (don't care for it, I never shoot in pouring rain) Tried the 2.0 prime, they look and feel good but I felt I was leaving something on the table knowing I could get another stop with a different lens...

The price increase on CFexpress Cards WOW!!!

It is NOT at all. The AI industry essentially have pre-bought all stock in 2026 and 2027. Basically everything rolled off the factory for the 18months has already been bought by AI data centers. The bargain now is actually Apple...they have the buying power and long term contracts in place...

Try looking at nvme SSD or RAM. Can you imagine paying £260 for that same CF Express card? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DGHB9V34?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0&th=1

Some of the case comes with thermal pads, some don't. you can always buy it and wait until you get it before getting any thermal pads. I bought like 10cm x 10cm square sheet and kinda cut to size as i need it for various builds. I do it this way because it was the most value for money and it...

    External SSD

There are a couple of ways to do this. You can but it all finished, and it is an SSD, even a SATA one. These are the slowest Then you can get other prebuilt SSD with 10gbps speed, which is like up to 1000mbps The fastest within reasonable price (before Christmas) would be a thunderbolt or USB4...

    External SSD

Not the nvme, this is specfically one of those external SSDs, the black ones with one side that is slightly rubberised. I think it is the 2TB versions that it was effected mostly by. I have one of the 1TB versions that I bought about a year before all that happened so mine isn't in that batch.

Sandisk a couple of years ago had TERRIBLE reliability issues with some of their drives and the bad thing is they didn't acknowledge it and tried to brush it off.

I saw the 135/1.4 at the Photography show. Same shell design as the 105 but they are using a different alloy that feels lighter in the hand (I don't have the numbers). I am guessing the discontinuation of the 105/1,4 probably due to the lack of sale, since it's quite close to the Macro lenses...

I have the 27/1.2 too but I got this at the Photography show this week, 10% off. I am a bokeh whore and I am proud of it. Amazing that this little lens basically a small version of the 105/1.4...almost but not the same...close enough!

    Apple MacBook Neo?

iPhone pictures or large raw file....this "genius" is not so much a genius. 1 - iPhone is capable of shooting RAW, it can shoot really large RAW files too. The latest iPhone 17 Pro produces a 48mp RAW file in around 55-75mb each. 2 - What he should really said or meant was that this machine is...
