thanks for the help guys :) i will try renting the d3s im after a cinematic camera so 24fps will do. i dont need the 30fps. I will defo give it some long hard thought. Spent to much time and money getting the stuff i have now.

if you want dramatic images out doors like landscapes you just need to get hold of a tripod. put your camera onto TV mode which is shutter priority and leave the shutter open for a fair amount of time. By putting the camera on TV mode it will figure out the Aperture for you. If you new to the...

is it a silver one??? if so they are formatted for mac to begin with. all you have to do is reformat it to windows :) hope this helps

just shoot in RAW + fine Jpeg, you can preview the image on the computer then later plug the sd card into the reader

ahhhh but if you shoot RAW + fine jpeg you can get quick previews of your images and still have the raw to back it up later if you get me. The card holds about 2GB of data so should easily be enough for a shoot. what do you think???
