I don't really know I just guessed depth of field would need to be under control so assumed AP mode. I haven't tried my hand at stop motion but either way, I don't think exposure issues would cause much an issue.
I guess I will just recommend the D5000. That way, if he invests in any other...
Ah right. For what he would be mostly using it for, he'd be on aperture priority so the camera would expose it for him. I just wondered if any other people used their camera's for the same purpose and could recommend one. One bundled with an appropriate lens would be ideal. :)
So my friend is looking to invest in a camera to use for some animation as he is a film student and is wanting to do more animation/stop-motion.
He's looking to spend around £400-500. I recommended the camera I have, a Nikon D5000. Are there any other camera's that might be more suited...
