Had the work van broken into in London on Monday and the scumbags took my A7iii, plus filters, lenses, flash etc. I should be able to claim on our house insurance but until then I'm going to have to go back to the clunky old Canon 70D :(

A bit late now if you've already bought the slider, but you could consider shooting a wider angle and then panning and zooming in software. If you shoot high res. pictures for a timelapse or video in 4k, downsizing to 1080p gives you quite a lot of leeway to zoom and pan without any further loss...

On the plus side, if you take off from the bottom of a mountain, and keep to within 400ft of the slope, you could go all the way to the top, and still be only 400ft above ground level :)
