    Kenya or Tanzania

I'd say Kenya first. Go for a safari to Maasai Maria first where you'll see majority of the game. Then off to Mombasa for some beach relaxation for a week... Kenya's infrastructure is much better established and geared for visitors compared to Tanzania. In Tanzania, best lace for viewing game...

    attaching a nikon d300s to a telescope

First you need a telescope. There's a few different types depending on whether it's purely for visual or just astrophotography. Proper astrophotography setups can be very expensive. Have a read over at the stargazers lounge forum. http://stargazerslounge.com To connect your DSLR to the...

How to shine up my car?

I use Bilt-Hamber Auto Balm on my silver car. Works very well in filling up the scratches but needs elbow grease

    What car do you drive?

Ooooh... details please... I'm from Kenya and even I didn't know there was a Kenya-spec....unless it's got a larger radiator, beefier suspension and other bits to make it 'tropical-friendly'....

    Nikon goes mirrorless

Guess I'm going to have to look at the Panasonic GF2 with the 14mm f2.5 pancake lens... much cheaper at £299...

Micro 4/3 recommendation from 3 cameras

Think the panasonic GF2 with 20mm lens will be cheaper than getting a similar setup for the NEX. Not to mention the size of the kit. The GF2 sensor size is 17.3 x 13.0 mm (in 4:3 aspect ratio) compared to the NEX5N which is 23.5 x 15.6mm

Micro 4/3 recommendation from 3 cameras

well I'm trying to stay away from having a zoom lens the panny G2 are not 'pocket-able' hence me excluding those and I don't really need the EVF. Played with the GF2 at the local store today morning and was quite impressed with it. Liked the touchscreen for focus point selection, and the rear...

Micro 4/3 recommendation from 3 cameras

So I've decided to go for a m4/3 camera for casual daily use. Decided on getting one with a fixed focal length lens (closest to 35mm) but I can't seem to make my mind up between the following three. Panasonic Lumix GF2 & 14mm F2.5 Pancake Lens (28mm @ 35mm equivalent) Olympus E-PL2 & 17mm F2.8...

Oh the shame, had to use a disposable camera!

Hmm.. I've got a wedding to attend this weekend and I think I'll go get a disposable camera and elbow my way right next to the pro tog and say "Hi mate, say 'Cheeeseee' !! " to him !! Just to see what his reaction would be brilliant... LOL

    Tethered shooting with Nikon D700

+1 for Sofortbildapp (or Nikon App as I've renamed it). Works well and is simple enough for me.

    Tethered shooting with Nikon D700

Hi Dominic I use this app on my macbook with my D90 and it's quite 'fussy' about what is started up first. I'll need to check this but the steps I do are 1) connect the USB cables onto the macbook and camera 2) start the app up 3) start the camera up Go through the preferences for...
