Hi, I'm just wondering how long it's taken people in reality from paying to receiving their goods.
I paid 48hours ago now, yesterday still hadn't got any tracking info so chased up and got a tracking number. This morning its still saying that the label has been printed but its still not at the...
I'll soon be joining the gang. Ordered from panamoz, paid 7am yesterday but according to UPS it hasn't even made it to their depot yet :( Going to be a huge upgrade from my D40x!
I was wanting to find out if my BT had been received and get an idea of shipping time but the telephone number seems to be always going through to voicemail. What times are the phones manned?
Now I'm confused! I think I'll wait and what photokina brings, if no further announcements I might just go for the D7000 as I'm guessing any new camera will be around. £200-300 more.
I'll just kick myself if a D7100 comes out in 2 months. To be honest the only thing I'd be after in a new model is improvement on the video side of things which I believe the D600 has. In any case I've been without video with a D40x for 5 years, so having any video functionality is an immediate...
I get confused with Nikon's higher end of the consumer market. I've always thought of the D7000 as being the replacement for the D90, yet the D90 is still for sale and is I think 4 years old!
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm thinking of getting it from http://www.panamoz.com/ so with the instant replacement warranty and a spare battery it'll be just over £600. I think I should just bite the bullet unless you really think there might be a further announcement at photokina next week?
Hi all, I've been using a D40x for about 5 years now and have a range of lenses and flashes. I've been itching to upgrade for sometime now. I was thinking of going for the D7000 when it was released and Wilkinson had it for cheap, then the price was hiked up, now it's coming down a little again...
I agree with you Daniel, the D40X is a great camera and I'm sure I'll still use it when I want a light weight option. Few things why I want to upgrade:
High ISO performance is pretty poor, have to fire the flash more then I'd want even with 2.8 lens.
I use wireless flash from time to time and...
Badboy - I do mostly potraits and small events photography.
Llamaman - Thanks for the advise, I think I am swaying on waiting even though they may not announce until September according to some sites!
Hi, I've been shooting with my D40x for well over 4 years now and have well and truely outgrown the camera. I've been putting money towards glass and flashes and stuck with the same body but I think it's about time I should upgrade.
From my research the D7000 seems like the camera to go for...
