Yeah I read that about the AF-S motor if it goes. There arent that many for sale privately , but the ones that are are around £2200 on eBay, and they are not cosmetically in as good condition as mine. What does one think to £1700?

Just to say, It works perfectly, pin sharp and ultra fast to focus. I have the original instructions and case. There isnt a mark on it, body or glass.

I do all viewing on the day, so its just to get the monitors set up correctly. Not too concerned about the printer calibration. But saying that, it depends on the price of the unit I suppose. No harm in having the printer calibrated too I guess.

As the title says really, which is the best value monitor calibration tool out there and any ideas on cheapest place to buy? Thanks in advance.

I always travel with Easyjet when working in Spain / Portugal. I use a Pelicase with a 400 2.8, two 1D bodies and a 70-200 2.8. Easyjet dont weigh hand luggage so they are perfect. I then check a suitcase in for the rest of my clothing etc.
