BYOB, in the US, is an abbreviation friends use when planning a party or am impromptu get-together... it means Bring Your Own Booze. I KNEW it would sound stupid if you guys didn't use the same acronym but I posted it anyway... what does that say about my native intelligence? :cuckoo::lol:

You should use it whenever there is a large difference between the light on the subject and the background. Example: If you are shooting outdoors and the light is not on the subject's face, chances are that the faces will be darker or shadowed. A flash will light the subject so you don't lose...

I disagree. A bookcase is a perfect subject, lots of angles and shadows. Besides, it doesn't matter, does it? It was an experiment. I have and use the Fong Bong because I like it, but I was curious to see what would happen. I will shoot some test shots with people when I can get a model...

I have always used a reader so I can't comment on the camera connection.

Seems like you could go with a pretty inexpensive setup if you chose a wide-stripe (as in tent) back drop with a couple of either wood cases or old suitcases, some artfully distributed Hay and a stool. If you can toss in a clown wig, a whip, megaphone or some other circus type props, it would...
