Do You Ever Feel Like Giving Up

I always give up but end up right back here again. I suppose in this day and age with millions of images floating around the Internet it doesn't help and can be quite disheartening seeing the same tired shots over and over again but then again it's a personal thing and you must just do your own...

    HDEW CAMERAS anyone used them?

You are probably right in that case Philip. Strange from Sony though as a brand i do like their equipment.

    HDEW CAMERAS anyone used them?

Just received my Canon 5D mk3, 100mm F2.8 is macro and MT24EX flash from them. Excellent service and quick delivery and I saved around £800 with them so very pleased. Matt

    Request for our wedding photographer.

Hugh, I just need a few and I probably should have mentioned he is shooting with a 1D mk2 so as it's not full frame I think that should be doable.

    Request for our wedding photographer.

    Request for our wedding photographer.

Hi, Would it be an unreasonable request to ask our wedding photographer for a selection of Tiffs as all the photos will be in colour and when i asked if there will be any edited in B&W he said that i could convert them. (He knows i am a photographer). Only thing is i don't want to convert jpegs...

    Laptop recommendation

Hi, Can anyone recommend a decent laptop for Mrs Pragmatist to run LR4 and store her images, not images in their thousands i might add but 1TB and minimum 15.6" screen desirable and something around the £450 mark. Thanks, Matt

    Getting photos published

First try your local paper, this has always worked for me though the subject was specialised ie local wildlife. Submit to competitions, again this has lead to requests for my photos through this. Give these a go and i'm sure as long as your work is good enough then you will start to get noticed...

    Anyone heard from Picsastock?

Give Alamy a look, not quite as hard as Getty to get submissions into.

Google has crossed the red line. Nexus 5 ad

I don't see your point, they are not saying that we can offload our expensive gear and use these, it's just another camera commercial
