I think so. The point being that if you rely solely on the aperture you may lose too much light. So, two stops, for me, might typically be one on the aperture, and one on the shutter speed.

I'm always bemused when a film camera has a stop down button. I mean what earthly use are they? I've never been able to discover a practical use for it. Yes, it stops down the shutter and makes your viewfinder darker. But what is the point of that?

Nothing wrong with that shot at all. I suspect you are higher than the path on the other side, and that you are looking down on it.

To be honest, I've got a few films to use up, but beyond that I don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe the odd roll, now and then. But it's getting silly.

I've beeb to Bhutan, many years ago. I'll have to dig out my old photos. Interesting place, and so much to photograph. You might not get to the Tigers Nest. They didn't allow people near it when I was there. Still, you will have an excellent view across the valley.
