Another vote for the Bessel double sided vinyl here :) I use the Lencarta Background Support kit to hold mine & it copes with the weight easily

Hi Duncan I covered an indoor swimming comp last December using a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS MkII & was more than happy with the results it gave, especially at ISO 3200 on one of my 50D's (not known for great high ISO performance)

As an example Dean, both shots below were taken in Shutter Priority (Tv) mode on my Canon 50D, in AI Servo mode, using back button focus 1/500 sec, F5 1/40 sec, F18
