I did have a 58mm after doing research but it didn't fit, could well be 55mm, gonna have to take into dealers and try to find a fit.

Hi all I recently tried to remove a speck from focal point mirror and seemed to have knocked the lights out. Some of the point lights are still visible though somewhat diminished. My question is do I need to replace it and if so at what cost?

Thanks Doddy1974, I have had soft images and thought it was something I was/wasn't doing.Don't want to sound stupid but what is the point of having a 300mm range if it doesn't produce desired result?

Hi there, Iam new to DSLR and love photographing birds. My question is: Is it easy to capture pin sharp images at a distance with a 70-300 lens fully open? I have tried several times with mixed results, non of them as sharp as I would like. Thanks

Hi all, a workmate told me of this forum and it does looks like it ticks all the boxes. I am starting over as I haven't used a SLR for 20 yrs or more, let alone a digital one. I have been using nikon compacts for years and have decided that it was time to 'step up'. I am using a Cannon EOS...
