I have a mint Sigma TC-1401.1.4x Canon mount which I only used a couple of times, soft case and caps but no box, if you are interested I will put it up in classifieds, I also have the Sigma dock which is needed to set up the 150-600 for optimum performance. I was only holding off selling due to...
Its part of the spec which I agree is annoying as I use manual focus quite a bit, I set up a custom button on the camera to put the lens in manual which saves having to look at the lens and do that way.
Just over a month now with Sony and still happy, but still working out the best way to process in Lightroom as very different files compared to Canon so a little noisy still.
A few shots with the 200-600mm on A9ii on my local wildlife. The only real downside to the lens is it does not allow...
I got the lenscoat cover it is far superior to the outdoorphoyographygear ones I have bought in the past it is rubber packed so does not spin or fall off the hood. The converter covers were a rip off but needed as I use the lens a lot with the 1.4 and the x2 works a treat for static subjects. I...

Thanks for the response
DMF still does not allow manual focus of this lens 200-600 if switched to AF on the lens. I just tried my 70-200 and it will manual focus when in AF on the lens even in AF-C
2 Thanks that works.
3 I have found out how to bring up exp comp in the view finder, not quite as...
I recently got a A9ii and I am very happy with it but I have come across a few of little quirks which I could do with some advice on.
I use back button focus on my Canon gear which still allows me to manually focus the lens, even when the lens is switched to AF, pressing the shutter button only...
I used one for a season doing football and motorsport and it was excellent. It also worked well with a Canon x2ii. I still regret selling the lens on occasions but you can only carry so many round a track.
I will also be selling the 1.4xTC which I got with my 150-600 as I have never used it...
Little bump of the thread. Still using mine at 600mm for dragons with manual focus as with a long foot plate it balances nicely in the palm and focus ring is exactly where you need it.
