Just got a 6D and almost straight away wondering if I should have gone for the 7D mk2... any reasons why I should change?

That's not exactly what I meant but I'd defiantly get the three lenses I've always wanted, so I can focus them on the type of shots I long for.. 50mm 1.4, 70-200 f2.8 and a 16-35 Mk2...

I suppose on the other hand if you won the lottery I guarantee you'd be getting some toys... I know I would but then for me it's another learning curve rather than expect miracles in my shots... One can dream!

Oooh that 1.8 is my next lens, when the sting from the 6D stops I'll get one.. They are supposed to be amazing for street stuff, forcing you into the picture, becoming more engaged with the subject oh and being amazingly sharp!

Couldn't put it better myself and seems applicable to most things in life. I've spent 5 years with a 450D and a 18-135 for my reef photography. 3 months ago I got a L 24-105 but that was only because an online store was closing down and I got it for half price. What this has taught me was how...

Thanks for the replies all. Ah ok, I will get my head into that, I just thought the 6d had a very good live view but I understand now :)

Hi, Hope you guys can help. Have a new 6D but when taking shots the live view looks darker than what actually come out when I download them? How accurate is the live view supposed to be? I have been over exposing shots thinking the live view image was too dark :( Cheers,

Hdew are a shop, I just ordered it from them online so technically I bought from a local shop :)

Yeah I saw lantern, Dubious about 3rd party firmware. Presume it's safe on these?

I know right! Well it was the free bag that persuaded me ;) that's a xmas present sorted for someone later on this year ;) 1.8 50mm stm on its way too... When I have recovered from the wallet battering I'll be heading for a 16-35 f2.8 also
