Thanks for the info Brian, The lens i am looking at doesn't have a mount on it at the moment so i will just get the olympus 4/3 mount for it. I have heard good things about these lenses, thats why i am hoping to grab this bargain if i can !!!!

I thought i had bagged a bargain too !!!!:thumbs: The HS10 did allow the use of aperture and shutter priority but the aperture range is somewhat limited. I am hoping the glympus will allow me more freedom of settings etc.

Thanks Dan....i do like the HS10...for a bridge camera it is quite exceptional. the problems only arise because of the small sensor when it comes to printing anything over A4 and the resolution starts to degrade.

Hi folks, i currently own a fuji hs10 bridge camera and want to upgrade to fomething a little more advanced/flexible. I have been offered an Olympus E-510 camea with 18-42 and 40-140 lenses plus a 70-300 lens. I understand this is a 4/3 system and was wondering if it is a worthwhile step up...

If you can find a second hand Fuji HS10 go for it...it is a great camera with all the control options you could want , plus an amazing 30x zoom !!!!
