Mine does not have that rectangular shaped opening/hole any longer, it is now a circular hole because this knob is not made of metal so it got stripped from over tightening. if we can get this piece from Sony or a custom cast of this, then will be back in business :)

Sorry for the typo... meant to say: I'm in the US and the part for the 100-400 GM lens is not available but seems there is the knob for the 70-100 GM lens which hopefully can be used as a replacement.
