Hi guys.
The other day I had a go at imitating a photograph for learning purposes. I've posted it online for critique and also linked to the original image.
What are your thoughts on recreating these images for learning purposes? Would you ask permission before you attempted the shot...
I'm there all weekend as a spectator as usual. Bunch of us are going down camping with plenty of beer and bbq. I doubt the camera will get used that much as a 200mm is a little short for Silverstone.
Camping at Whittlebury :)
That's pretty shoddy.
I recently sold a damaged Canon 70-200 F4 and sent it direct to Lehmanns, they then sent the buyer the bill and shipped it off to him repaired all in the same week, so that was excellent service.

Sorry to hear this.
I'm a regular on their forums and have had many dealings with them in the past regarding faulty goods. I've recently had a faulty motherboard from them but they refunded straight away as I had already purchased another. Also had a faulty Logitech G25 which they replaced...
After a bit of research i've come to the same conclusion. But I may go with the 2x instead of the 1.4x. I've been using 200mm max for the past 6 months and think it's fantastic so I can continue to use that on tracks such as Croft and Knockhill. For tracks like Silverstone then the 2x will be...
